Falaknuma Palace meaning ‘Mirror in the sky’, Former palace of the 6th Nizam of the Princely state of Hyderabad. A jewel in the clouds.
The entire place is filled with Royal Aura. Clouds and sun together looming over the palace sky made it look more Royal, elegant and more magnificent.
A perfect location for a Post wedding shoot with the perfect couple. They just looked Royal.
The Taj Falaknuma, erstwhile the Falaknuma Palace, being the palace of the Nizams still maintains the Royal treatment. And so were Usha & Naveen, who were the royal couple for the day.
Usha and Naveen were welcomed in the most Royalist manner. The royal buggy rode them all the way till the Palace.
As the newly wed arrived, they were welcomed with showering of rose petals. It was a pretty sight to watch. Though this was a common sight at many weddings, this had a difference in it. The petals were from the finest roses that were grown in the court yard and as the petals came down, the fragrance from them filled the air making the environment more romantic. The smile on the couples face will tell the tale.
A cake baked exclusively at the Royal kitchen for Usha and Naveen along with a bouquet with flowers from the Palace garden along with newspapers and other items, came in as a surprise.
The place was so beautiful that each and every corner of the palace became a location for capturing moments.
Its a photographers paradise too… 🙂
Walking over the long corridors, halls, gardens etc. of the palace, it was time to view the sunset from the huge balcony which over looked the city. The breath taking view of the city while the sunsets is just undefinable. Looking at this location and capturing the beauty i wished for one thing, spend every evening the rest of my life at this location.
With a cup of tea, the evening over sunset was preceded with qawwali. The Sufi music will make one get lost in times and travel back to the Nizam Era.
With the night galloping the sky, the palace was even more beautiful with glowing lights and the smell of royal perfumes engulfing the atmosphere.
The Interiors of the palace
At the end of the day, the magnificent palace, the royal galore, the majestic life etc. everything became secondary in presence of the eternal love of the newly wed.
Wishing them a very happy married life.
